Diagonal View is a site specific installation which is based on the spatial conditions of the exhibition space of Galeria Leme.
Basically the work consist of two corridors which are crossing each other in an wide angle, in the center point of the exhibition space. The entrance ways of the corridors are fixed to the two identical entrances to the gallery space. In the crossing of the two corridors a mirror is fixed. When you’re standing inside one of the corridors looking towards the mirror, the mirror creates a view as if the spectator is looking through a straight corridor which seems to end in the opposite corner of the diagonal. When you get closer to the mirror the corridor splits up in four directions.
