The window panes shielding off the meeting rooms in the headquarters of Kvadrat in Ebeltoft are painted with black and white lines directly on the glass, both inside and outside the room. By arranging the lines in a specific pattern, the tiny space inside the double-layered window panes is activated and emphasised. In an ultra-minimal way, ‘Lines’ addresses the transparency of glass and how highlights and shadows define the space that surrounds us.
